2. Breathe through your nose rather than your mouth so that your mouth is not dry!

However, if you breathe through your mouth, your saliva will dry out because it is drier than when you breathe through your nose. Dry mouth is the best place for bacteria to grow because saliva doesn't do its job. As germs are infested, you will smell a lot of bad breath. Make it a habit to breathe through your nose to keep your saliva from drying out. Also, it is important to provide adequate hydration so that the mucous membranes in the mouth do not dry out, as saliva helps to remove food debris and acid, thereby inhibiting oral bacteria. Drink water rather than sugary or acidic beverages.

3. Eat foods that are good for relieving bad breath

Eating seaweed, sesame leaves, and carrots together at meals helps prevent bad breath. In particular, laver has a component called phycocyanin, which is good for decomposing substances that cause bad breath. In addition, it is rich in dietary fiber and is effective in removing debris from teeth or gums. If you drink tea after meals, green tea is recommended over coffee. Coffee has an ingredient called tannin that inhibits saliva secretion, which causes dry mouth. On the other hand, green tea has a flavonoid, which has a deodorizing effect, which can reduce bad breath.  

 

Mask management is important as the longer the time to wear the mask, the more bacteria in the mouth will grow. Those who have used the mask for an hour or two a day can dry it well in the sun and use it three or four times a day or two later. However, the mask must be kept clean, and it is not recommended to reuse the mask that has been used for three or four hours on days when the ultrafine dust is very bad. The number of times you touch the mask with your hands should be as small as possible. If you touch the inside with your hand and reuse it while putting on and taking off a mask, there is a risk that bacteria in your mouth will increase, which can cause bacterial growth.
